HALAWA - natural Hair remiver

HALAWA is a natural product that is outstandingly suited to hair removal from the upper lip (ladies' facial hair), cheeks, chin, armpits, upper and lower arms, breasts, stomach, back, upper and lower legs, bikini line and pubic area.

Please read the instructions supplied with every jar before you use the tried and tested HALAWA procedure. We will demonstrate hair removal from the legs and armpits in the following. General instructions

Please do not sunbathe for at least 8 hours before or after depilation, whether outside or in the solarium.
Do not apply HALAWA to varicose veins, acne, wounds, warts, moles, sunburn or inflamed skin and never after exfoliation. The same applies to thin, soft skin and weak connective tissue.
Please first powder the areas intended for hair removal and erect the hairs slightly, so that skin and hair is dry and free of grease. Please cut longer hair to a length of approx. 0.5 - 1 cm.
First test HALAWA on a small area of the under-arm or leg.
Reddening of the skin after treatment is normal and subsides after a short time. Please do not use HALAWA again if the reddening persists.
HALAWA's consistency will change depending on ambient temperature, as it is a natural product. HALAWA's best consistency is obtained through storage in a cool location (16 - 18ºC).
Protect the jar from humidity - otherwise HALAWA will be rendered useless.

Using the strips of material

Please cut the strips of material in the package to the desired length: for hair removal from the legs, 15-25 cm, for all other areas of the body, 8-15 cm. Longer strips are in no way beneficial, but will only result in unnecessary pain due to their slower removal.

Please do not throw the strips of material away after use, but wash, dry and re-use! HALAWA dissolves in water. However, we recommend you boil the strips of material after each use for reasons of hygiene and in order to avoid irritation to the skin.

Arms and legs

Please take HALAWA out of the jar using the back of a spoon or your thumb: 10-15 grams are sufficient for both arms or both legs.

Thinly spread on to the area intended for hair removal in the direction of hair growth. Then immediately position the strips of material and briefly massage on. Following this, stretch the skin with one hand and pull the strip off as quickly as possible with the other, flat against the direction of hair growth. Please do not pull upwards!

After depilation, remove HALAWA residues with lukewarm water and freshen the skin with cold water. Then apply active Aloe Vera Gel® to the depilated areas. This will soothe, cool and care for the skin. Follow the identical procedure to that for the arms and legs for hair removal from the stomach and back.

First, ensure the areas intended for hair removal are well powdered and erect the hairs slightly.

Armpits

You can remove the hair from your armpits in one or two steps. When using the two step approach, please depilate from the outside towards the apex.

Shorten the hairs to be removed to approx. 1 cm. The skin must be dry and free of grease, therefore, powder well beforehand. Then mould HALAWA into the armpits and massage the strip of material on well. While doing this, pull your arm over the shoulder and down towards your back as far as possible. This stretches the skin.

Then pull off the strip of material flat and as rapidly as possible. Individual small hairs can be pulled out between thumb and index finger (pincer grip) using a little HALAWA.

As already mentioned: Please do not throw the strips of material away after hair removal, but wash, dry and re-use!

Cool the armpits with cold water (iced water) after depilation and apply Aloe Vera Gel. to soothe the skin. Please do not use any deodorant for the next 24 hours. From the next day onwards, please carefully massage the depilated areas with the Luffa massage glove during your daily shower.
